I met matt in 1992 when I moved to strongstown.I became friends with his sister tressa.So all through high school his sisters and I were best friends.Matt was the quiet type and when he did say something it was usually a smartass comment that was hilarious.The older we got the closer friends we became.We even worked at gorells together for about 6 years.And he was a jokster there to,always up to no good.But that was matt.And that is why I think him and I got along so well.Matt could always make me laugh.Im glad I was fortunate enough to be able to meet and be part of his life that was indeed to short.Ill never forget you matt.Rest in Peace

We both knew Matt from a tiny little guy following his Grandpa....dressing in hunting boots at a very young age...riding quads....always smiling. Our fun times with Matt were at our camp in Cameron County. He enjoyed himself very much there...He liked teasing Ed about eating sweets. I remember one time at Blue Goose at a wedding reception, Matt put some gobs on the front seat of his pick up truck, trying to get Ed into trouble for eating too many sweets. Matt is missed very much.
